The school delivers the standard 4-week, 160-hour Class A CDL program with 40 hours of classroom instruction and 120 hours of behind-the-wheel training at a 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio. Classes begin every Monday and run Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The program covers pre-trip inspection, basic vehicle control, backing techniques, and over-the-road driving in preparation for the Texas CDL road test. Students must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license, provide a valid Social Security card, and clear a medical exam. Tuition ranges from $4,000 to $7,000, with employer tuition reimbursement widely available from carriers operating in the Texas freight market. Financial aid is available for qualified applicants.
