About Arkansas Trucking Academy
Arkansas Trucking Academy (ArkTA) is a consortium of Arkansas State University (ASU) Three Rivers, University of Arkansas (UA) Cossatot, UA Rich Mountain and UA Hope/Texarkana. It is the first public trucking academy in Arkansas, offering driver training at four locations. The academy provides a combination of virtual/simulation instruction, traditional classroom instruction, and practical over-the-road experience. The program aims to prepare students to test for their CDL in a short amount of time.
