About ASSOCIATED TRAINING SERVICES
Associated Training Services (ATS), established in 1959, is a heavy equipment training institution located in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Originally named the National Institute of Concrete Construction, ATS has evolved to offer training programs in heavy equipment operation, mobile crane operation, construction-related trucks, rigging, signaling, and commercial motor vehicles. ATS is a veteran-approved training school. ATS aims to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed for stable, well-paying jobs in high-demand occupations. ATS provides training for various types of heavy equipment, including backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, wheel loaders, scrapers, all-terrain forklifts, motor graders, and articulated off-road dump trucks. They also offer crane operator training, rigger/signalperson training, and Class A CDL training. The Class-A CDL program helps graduates secure employment as heavy equipment or crane operators, enabling them to transport equipment to job sites or operate mobile cranes on public roads. ATS offers financial assistance programs to make training accessible and affordable. They also provide housing assistance for students who stay at their dormitory. The school is accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) since 2003 and has an A+ rating. ATS is affiliated with Diesel Truck Driver Training School and Employment Services Association. ATS is located four miles north of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, at Highway 151 and Highway VV. The main campus includes approximately fifty acres of training grounds, with field practice areas, buildings, and parking.
