Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School (BAVTS) is a public, magnet school located in Bethlehem, PA. It serves approximately 1,300 students in grades 9-12 through a half-day delivery system, where students spend part of their day at their sending high school and the other part at BAVTS. BAVTS offers career and technical instruction in 27 unique programs of study within seven career clusters. The school aims to provide challenging, integrated educational experiences to meet the needs of a diverse student population. BAVTS is a student-centered facility that works to meet the needs of its diverse student population through challenging, integrated educational experiences. The school provides the necessary career paths, supports, and training to ensure success for all students throughout their secondary, post-secondary, and working careers. BAVTS has partnerships with parents, sending districts, business/industry, and post-secondary institutions. As a non-profit, community-based public training facility, BAVTS's goal is to provide adults with a variety of opportunities to build careers. Whether attending in person or online, students receive the training required to enter, re-enter, or advance in the workforce as quickly as possible. BAVTS offers courses in areas such as arts and design, business, computer applications, health and fitness, math and science, and test prep. BAVTS is an educational partnership with the Bethlehem Area, Northampton Area, and Saucon Valley school districts. The school is located in Bethlehem Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. BAVTS strives to build individual foundations that support lifelong goals for its diverse student population.
