Baker Technical Institute (BTI) in Baker City, Oregon, provides next-generation education, partnering with regional employers and industry experts to deliver innovative, hands-on training. BTI offers programs in welding, nursing, construction, engineering, natural resources, environmental science, agriculture, and more. BTI is committed to creating thriving communities by launching careers that can be pursued anywhere in the world. BTI also partners with Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC) to build a new training center in the industrial park south of the current OTEC headquarters, on approximately 30 acres recently purchased from Baker City.
