Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) is a public community college located in Louisville, Kentucky, and is the largest college in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. JCTC was formed in 2005 through the consolidation of Jefferson Community College and Jefferson Technical College. The college aims to transform lives and communities through educational excellence in a welcoming and supportive environment. JCTC offers career/technical, transfer, and transitional educational opportunities. JCTC has six campuses located throughout Kentucky, including three in Louisville and three in surrounding counties. The Downtown Campus is the largest and serves as the primary administrative hub. JCTC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees, certificates, and diplomas.
