Knight Transportation offers a Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) class to help students prepare for the examination at their local DMV. This class is available at no additional cost after pre-qualifying for the Knight CDL Academy and is offered in Phoenix, Indianapolis, El Paso, Las Vegas, and Nashville. After obtaining a CDL and getting hired by Knight, drivers receive over-the-road training with qualified driver trainers to develop the experience needed for a long-lasting driving career. Knight Transportation won't require you to sign any contracts prior to the start of their commercial driver's license (CDL) program. Students are required to report to Knight's Phoenix terminal to begin training. Knight Transportation helps students to be able to meet their qualifications for company paid CDL training at one of the best company sponsored truck driving schools around by walking them through the process.
