About Long Beach City College
Long Beach City College (LBCC), established in 1927, is a public community college with two campuses: the Liberal Arts Campus (LAC) and the Trades, Technology, and Community Learning Campus (TTC). LBCC offers a wide range of academic and vocational programs, including business, health, trade and industry, communications, and liberal arts. The college is known for its strong community partnerships and initiatives that prepare students for success. LBCC also provides resources and programs to meet the diverse needs of its nearly 30,000 students. LBCC is divided into six schools: Business and Social Science, Creative Arts and Applied Sciences, Health, Science and Mathematics, Language Arts, and Physical Education and Athletics.
