Truck Driver Institute (TDI) of Sanford, FL, is a well-respected truck driving school in Central Florida, serving the Orlando area for over 23 years. The Sanford campus is a spacious, modern training center conveniently located off I-4, just East of Orlando. TDI's CDL training program is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and experience that major transportation companies seek. The school provides a mixture of classroom and behind-the-wheel training. Students learn the technical and operational aspects of driving a semi-truck, including maintaining driver logs, reading maps, trip planning, and conducting pre-trip safety inspections. The hands-on portion of the program puts students behind the wheel of a full-sized 18-wheeler to learn shifting techniques, turning maneuvers, and safe backing. TDI is registered and compliant with FMCSA's Entry Level Driver Training requirements and is certified by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) for third-party testing.
